Kyra Romero, 18, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on January 25, 2007, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Kyra brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her.

Kyra was known for her big heart and unwavering selflessness. She consistently put others before herself and faced life with a unique blend of intelligence and determination. Her spirit was as strong as it was kind—stubborn in the best way and always guided by compassion.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother Leticia; her older brothers Chango, Martin, and Nathan; her sisters Jazmin and Kylie; and her younger siblings. Kyra also held a special place in her heart for Michael, the man she called her world, and for Jazmin’s boyfriend, whom she cared for like a brother. Each of them carries forward the warmth of her memory.

Kyra has now joined her father Marcos and her best friend Avery in heaven. Though their absence is deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing they are together again.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Kyra on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Legacy Church, located at 7201 Central Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. All who knew and loved Kyra are invited to attend and share in remembering her beautiful life.
