Kyle Richard Horner, born on June 26, 1995, in Bradenton, FL, passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 29. A lifelong resident of Bradenton, Kyle was known for his infectious smile and his ability to brighten the lives of those around him. He was a loving son, brother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Kyle had a passion for WWE wrestling, which he enjoyed watching, along with his favorite TV shows, including Dragon Ball Z and Family Guy. He loved spending time with his family, whether it was fishing, playing cards, or having heartfelt conversations. His favorite foods included cheesecake and Uncle Mike’s pizza, and he was never one to turn down a good meal, often jokingly saying, “I’m starving.”
A fan of music, Kyle enjoyed artists like Jelly Roll, Tom Macdonald, and Technine. He had a deep affection for the worlds of Harry Potter, Dragon Ball Z, and Assassin’s Creed. His adventurous spirit was evident when he once brought home an alligator and placed it in a pool, and he never shied away from helping others, such as rescuing a stray kitten.
Kyle's tenacity shone through in his battle with cancer, a fight he faced with immense courage and determination. After 6 months in a hospital bed from a brain tumor that crippled him, he fought back and learned how to sit-up to eventually walk again with the with Faith in God and strength lead by his stepfather Mike. Kyle never quit, he was determined to walk again and gain his independence. He was a proud Catholic who believed in the goodness of people, never judging others and always offering compliments. He lived by the motto of never accepting “no” for an answer and had a unique ability to make everyone smile.
Kyle is survived by his mother and stepfather, Michael and Dori Bridger; his brother, Christopher Horner; his father and stepmother, Richard and Michele Horner; and step-siblings Nicholas and Alanah Trisna, along with half-brothers Enrique and Antonio Horner.
