Kyle McKenzie, born on June 21, 2000, in Richmond, VA, peacefully passed away on January 8, 2024, in his hometown. A beloved son, friend, and adventurer, Kyle had a zest for life that was contagious to all who knew him.

Kyle was a young man of many passions. He found joy in the art of skateboarding, pushing the boundaries of gravity with every trick he landed. His talent and dedication to the sport were evident in the way he effortlessly glided through life. Creativity flowed through his veins, and he often expressed himself through his artwork, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and imagination.

When it came to food, Kyle had a weakness for the simple pleasures in life. Pizza and fried chicken were among his favorite indulgences, and he savored each bite with a twinkle in his eye. He believed in living life to the fullest and embraced the motto "YOLO," reminding himself and others to seize every moment with enthusiasm and purpose.

Beyond his hobbies and culinary delights, Kyle was known for his kind heart, sharp intellect, and adventurous spirit. He touched the lives of countless people with his generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His presence brought warmth and joy to those around him, and his absence leaves an irreplaceable void in their hearts.

Although Kyle's time with us was far too short, his legacy lives on through the memories he created and the lives he touched. He will be remembered as a vibrant soul who dared to chase his dreams and inspired others to do the same.

In honor of Kyle McKenzie, a private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a local skateboarding or art organization in Kyle's memory.
