Life Story

Kisha Nicole Adams-Gale, the second oldest of six children, was born to George W. Adams Jr. and Sharon L. Adams at Thomas Jefferson Hospital on April 22, 1972. From the day she was born, George and Sharon knew Kisha was a special girl.

Growing up, Kisha was artistic and a perfectionist when it came to cleanliness. In elementary and high school, her teachers praised her beautiful handwriting. Kisha loved to draw paper dolls and even designed clothes for them. She always needed her surroundings to be clean and neat, and when they weren’t, it was a clear sign that Kisha wasn’t feeling well.

Kisha began studying the Bible again with Jehovah’s Witnesses. She believed in God’s promise of a coming paradise on earth, as described in the Bible, and found joy in studying and attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall. She even encouraged her husband to learn about the good news she was discovering, inviting him to attend meetings with her. This past summer, she attended a special convention held at the Wells Fargo Center. Kisha was overjoyed by the event, feeling as though she had already experienced a glimpse of paradise through the unity of people from various nationalities. She often spoke of her strong desire to be part of God’s promised paradise.

Kisha attended Andrew Jackson Elementary School and later Bok Tech High School. Her first job was at the McDonald’s located in the Philadelphia Zoo. However, she left the job because she became afraid that the lions might escape and attack her!

In 1990, Kisha welcomed her first child, a bright-eyed baby girl named Nadia Townes, who sadly preceded her in death in 2020. A few years later, she welcomed her first son, Unique Townes, and, after that, another son, Ikei Tobias Adams. Kisha’s bubbly personality and sense of humor were evident in her children, each of whom inherited her joyous spirit.

Kisha eventually met and dated Benjamin Gale, and the two were married in December 2022. They cherished their union and enjoyed their time together until Kisha fell asleep in death.

Kisha leaves behind her parents, George and Sharon Adams; her siblings, George Jr., Tamara, Rashaana, Shavannah, and Kevin; her two sons, Unique and Ikei; her grandchildren; her husband, Benjamin Gale; brother in-laws Darien Green and Brian Nelson, sisters-in-law, aunts, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and her spiritual family.

Kisha will be dearly missed but will remain in our hearts until we see her again in the resurrection in the New World that Jehovah has promised in His Word, the Bible. As Revelation 21:3, 4 reminds us:

“With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: ‘Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’”
