Obituary

Kiara M Ayres, a beloved mother and devoted animal lover, passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 47. Born on August 12, 1976, in Amarillo, TX, Kiara most recently resided in Hustonville, KY.

Throughout her life, Kiara was rarely seen without a furry companion by her side. From Daisy, the black Labrador, at age 10, to Rosie River the Russian Blue, who lived until a week before her passing, Kiara had a total of 14 dogs and 5 cats in her 47 years. She cherished the company of her pets and found solace in their presence.

Kiara had a simple pleasure in life, enjoying two packs of Marlboro Red 100’s and a large Zaxby’s sweet tea on her porch in the early mornings. She found joy in watching 'M.A.S.H.' on her couch, considering it her favorite place in the world.

Despite not completing high school, Kiara was a dedicated mother who raised three amazing children: Kendahl, Bryce, and Stephanie 'Stevie'. Two of her children graduated high school while one obtained their GED, and Kiara took pride in their accomplishments.

Known as MawMaw to her grandchildren, Kiara always had a Marlboro Red 100 and a Zaxby’s or Milo’s sweet tea to snack on. She had a unique sense of humor and often quoted her motto, "You live every day, you only die once."

Kiara's impact on the lives of others was profound. Though not always warm, she loved unconditionally. She was a devoted member and previous organist of the Church of Latter Day Saints on 7th and Cristov. Her contributions to the community extended to her role as an organ player and her involvement in the church.

Survived by her children and ex-husband, William 'Willy' Jackson, Kiara leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion. She will be remembered for her unique spirit, her love for her family and pets, and her commitment to her community. May she rest in eternal peace.
