She was a devoted wife for 60 years to her college sweetheart and a proud mother of three children and several grandchildren.

Khalilah's passions were as diverse as her interests. She had a deep love for animals of all shapes and sizes, which influenced her career as a veterinarian. She proudly earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Veterinary Sciences from Mississippi State University and graduated from Veterinary School, demonstrating her dedication to her profession.

Among her many hobbies, Khalilah enjoyed traveling and had the remarkable experience of visiting every continent. She was an active participant in JROTC, where she developed leadership skills that she carried throughout her life. Her creative side flourished through writing poetry and indulging in her love for reading. She found joy in simple pleasures, including enjoying various pasta dishes and homemade meals.

Khalilah was also a sports enthusiast, excelling in track and field, football, and basketball. In her downtime, she loved watching "Love Island" and listening to her favorite band, Mindless Behavior.

Affectionately nicknamed Khi, Lilah, and Livi, she was cherished for her caring and nurturing nature, always available when needed.
