Kevin Francis Shanahan, affectionately known as Kev, passed away on September 28, 2024, in Dundee, South Africa. Born on August 22, 1955, in Ladysmith, South Africa, Kev was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maryna, and their two cherished children, Christopher and Jessica. Kev will be deeply missed by his siblings, Paul, Shirley, and Heather, who remember him for his gentle nature and quick wit, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood.

A man of warmth and kindness, Kev lived by the words of an Irish Proverb: "May your troubles be less and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door." His spirit and humor brought joy to those around him, and his legacy will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
