Swimming, fishing, helping others, spending time with his love of his life and cats
He loved Hamburgers and fries! Reeses, soda and ripits! Or He would tell you "anything his wife made" because he was a pleaser!
He was a country boy through and through. But he could get down to some of all the jams. He knew almost all the words to any song!
He was a hero by day and by night. He worked in the service field. He may have saved someone you know.
Going out on fun dates, and making his woman happy. He was a simple kind of man.
Right where he was. He had a beautiful life and wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world.
He liked funny sitcoms but mostly anime and short stories!
You could catch him playing basketball but his most favorite thing to do was swim oh and RUN! He was FAST.
He loved comedies, actions and horror!
Welder, tow truck driver, mechanic, C.N.A., gardener, landscaping, super husband, best uncle ever, best big brother ever..
Never would give up.
Moxie, Maven and Maverick Anthony. His 3 cherished kitties.
In Loving Memory of Kevin Anthony Jones
With hearts shattered beyond words, we announce the passing of Kevin Anthony Jones, who left this world on July 21, 2026, at the age of 29.
Born on March 19, 1997, in Somerset, Kentucky, Kevin was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and devoted fiancé. He was known for his unmatched work ethic, overwhelmingly kind heart, incredible sense of humor, unwavering strength, boundless generosity, and deep compassion. Kevin had a rare gift for making everyone around him feel important, accepted, and deeply loved. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and light wherever he went, and the lives he touched will never be the same.
Kevin found joy in life's simple moments. He loved fishing, swimming, climbing trees, building anything he could imagine, collecting everything from unique rocks to beautiful jewelry, learning new skills, camping beneath the stars, and bringing smiles to everyone he met. His greatest happiness, however, was found in spending time with his beloved fiancée, Taylor Manning, and their three cherished cats—his "fur children"—Moxie, Maven, and Maverick Anthony. Kevin also adored spending time with his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Taking them to creek while growing up in Kentucky to fish, climb trees and laugh endlessly was his favorite past time.
Kevin loved the outdoors, believed in helping anyone in need, and never hesitated to lend a hand to a friend or stranger. He had a heart that gave endlessly without expecting anything in return. Every child who knew him adored him. Whether they called him Uncle Kevin or looked up to him as a big brother, he made each one feel safe, valued, and endlessly loved.
He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Taylor Manning, along with his loving family and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Justina Marie Jones; his stepmother, Sara Jones; and several beloved aunts and uncles.
Though Kevin's time on Earth was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on forever.
Funeral service: 2:00 PM (EST), Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our hero.
We'll plant real trees for you in Kevin's memory and display your contribution forever.
All condolences, notes and wishes in this book of memories.
