Kevin was a known Christian and follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Kevin Allen Clarkson, born on April 6, 1988, in La Grange, KY, passed away on September 5, 2024, in Lexington, KY. Kevin, affectionately known as "Kevbo," was a dedicated maintenance worker for the fast food industry who took pride in his work and the communities he served.
Kevin was an adventurous soul who found joy in the great outdoors. He loved taking late-night walks and exploring nature, with a special fondness for places with waterfalls. His passion for swimming was remarkable; he was known for his exceptional ability to hold his breath for long periods and once famously swam across the Kentucky River and back, even in colder temperatures.
A devoted husband, brother, and uncle, Kevin cherished spending time with his wife, family, and pets. His nieces and nephews brought him immense joy, and he loved nothing more than sharing laughter and fun with them.
In his leisure time, Kevin enjoyed playing XBOX and board games with friends and family, creating lasting memories over shared laughter and friendly competition. He had a deep appreciation for good food, with favorites that included baked spaghetti, spicy chicken sandwiches, and cheeseburgers, as well as a variety of snacks and treats like homemade chili and Reese's Fast Break.
Musically, Kevin had an eclectic taste, often listening to artists like Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, and Tim McGraw, among others. His love for music was just one of the many ways he connected with those around him.
Kevin's warm spirit and zest for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Kevin would want his friends and family to grieve not for him but rejoice in the fact that he has been delivered unto the Lord Jesus Christ. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Kevin is survived by: His wife Kayla Hill, His brother Ricky Clarkson, His sister Samantha Schaffner, His Uncle Patrick King, his nieces and nephews Layken Clark, Sage Clark, Rylee Clarkson, and Grayson Sullivan.
Kevin was preceded by: His mother Nancy Howard, His father Ricky H. Clarkson, His grandmother Gay Martin, His grandfather Bernard King Sr.
