Kenneth Lynn Howard, lovingly known as Ken, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024, in his hometown of San Diego, California. He was born on January 30, 1939, in San Diego, where he spent his entire life.
Ken led a life filled with adventure and passion. In his youth, he had a fascination with speed and competition, racing cars and drag boats. He also enjoyed the thrill of riding motorcycles and horses. Ken had a deep love for anything related to cars and was a true car enthusiast.
When it came to food, Ken had a taste for the finer things in life. He relished in savoring steak, fish tacos, and eggs. As for music, Ken's love for all genres knew no bounds. From old country tunes to modern rock anthems, he appreciated the beauty in every melody.
Above all, Ken cherished his family. He was extremely family-oriented and had a strong bond with his wife Annie, whom he considered his guiding light. Ken's children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments.
Throughout his life, Ken wore many hats professionally. He started with owning a rental car and charter bus service, then transitioned into running a pool and spa service. Finally, he retired as a successful real estate agent. Ken was determined to succeed in every venture he undertook.
Ken lived by the motto, "The past is over, leave it there." He believed in embracing the present and looking towards the future with optimism. One of his proudest accomplishments was raising his children, who brought him immeasurable joy and happiness.
In addition to his wife Annie, Ken is survived by his daughters, Susan Kay Stuart and Marjorie Elaine Pontarolo, as well as his adoring grandchildren. He will be remembered for his unwavering determination, kind heart, and his desire to make the world a better place.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Kenneth Lynn Howard. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
