Kenneth Dean Franklin, known to his loved ones as Ken, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 67. He was born on July 27, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, and had most recently lived in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ken had a diverse range of interests and passions. He enjoyed watching cartoons and kid shows with his nephew, Phillip J D Strickland. Swimming was his favorite sport, bringing him joy and tranquility. Ken's artistic talents extended beyond his carpentry skills, making him a true artist in his own right.

Having served in the Air Force as an aircraft repair specialist, Ken was recognized for his dedication and expertise. He also excelled as a carpenter and handyman throughout his career. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were admired by all who witnessed his work.

Ken was the beloved son of Wade H Franklin III and Carolyn Henderson. He is survived by his father, as well as his brother, Craig C Franklin, and sister, Denise M Strickland. Ken's defining personality traits included his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and gentle nature. He touched the lives of many through his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Kenneth Dean Franklin will be remembered fondly for his talents, kindness, and the impact he made on the lives of others. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held close by those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
