Kenisha Knox (Phiffer), affectionately known as Kendu, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at the age of 44. Born on March 10, 1979, in East Saint Louis, IL, Kenisha was a beloved member of her family and friends.

Kenisha was a dedicated family woman, finding her greatest joy in the company of her nieces and nephews. Her love and care for her family were unmatched, and she always made sure to show up for those she loved. Kenisha was a caring and compassionate soul, who had a fiery spirit that added a special spark to her relationships.

Kenisha leaves behind spouse, Norvell Knox who was her companionship through her journey. She is also survived by her mother Ida Burrell, father Isaiah Ishman, sisters Deborah Phiffer and Kwana Phiffer, and brothers Eugene Phiffer and Nathaniel Phiffer. Additionally, she is mourned by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt’s, and uncle’s, all of whom were deeply impacted by her presence in their lives.

Kenisha Knox (Phiffer) will be dearly missed and loved by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her loving spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness.
