Obituary

Kelsey was a vibrant follower of Jesus Christ who lived a life built on faith, love, and togetherness. She found strength and comfort in God’s Word and faithfully served her church, ACC Downtown. Known for her joyful spirit, Kelsey filled her days with laughter, kindness, and a good latte.

She cherished time with her husband, Jack, enjoying date nights exploring new restaurants, puzzle and game nights with friends, photoshoots, girls’ nights, and hosting dinner parties and family gatherings. Always up for a phone call, Kelsey never missed an opportunity to share what was happening in her life. Her life was never dull, and her spirit always glowed.

Kelsey was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, earning degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Science. She completed an externship with the McCormick Spice Company, developing recipes featured on their social media platforms. She spent two months in Tuscany, Italy, teaching at Toscana Saporita Cooking School, worked at the Gaylord Resort in Nashville. She inspired many through her cooking lessons and her well-known phrase, “Trust me, you can cook.”

Kelsey is survived by her beloved husband, Steward; her parents, Jack and Kayla; her brother, Zach; her Stepbrother, Guillermo; her son, Leo; and her grandmothers, Anna and Maria. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert, Jose, and her Daughter, Syan.
