Keith Cordell Parker
July 20, 1986 – April 14, 2025
Keith Cordell Parker, age 38 but forever 21 at heart, passed away on April 14, 2025. Though his time here was far too short, Keith lived with a fire and joy that could light up any room and lift any spirit.
Born on July 20, 1986, to Tarvia McKinney and Kenneth Hines, Keith was known for his contagious smile, quick wit, and the way he could make you laugh even on your hardest day. He had a gift for connection—through humor, heart, or music—and left everyone he met feeling just a little brighter.
Keith had a passion for basketball (especially his beloved KU), loved doing yard work, and found joy in music—whether he was making it or turning it up loud and vibing with it. His energy was magnetic, his presence unforgettable.
Above all, Keith was a devoted father and proud grandfather. He is survived by his three children: Treyvon Miller, Nia Parker, and Mariah Parker, and by his two grandchildren, Kartier Foster and A’Xyla Parker. Being a grandpa brought him a new kind of joy—one that lit him up from the inside out.
Keith was also a beloved twin brother to Kevin Parker, and a cherished sibling to Kenneth Parker, Reggie Davis, Michelle Collins, Sherod Dean, Lavada Jones, Crystal (Joseph) Ward, Jadarous Turner, Kenneth Hines Jr., Kentavious Hines, Kendra Hines, and Kennedy Hines. He was also a stepson to Damon McKinney. Also a host of plenty of nieces and nephews. He was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend—and to so many, a light.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 2nd at Shawnee Lake, where memories, laughter, and love will be shared in true Keith fashion—under the open sky he loved.
Keith’s funeral service will take place on May 9th at 11:00 AM at Wonderful Works Deliverance Center COGIC. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor the vibrant life he lived.
Keith’s legacy will live on in every smile he brought to a face, every song that echoes his vibe, and every heart that carries a piece of him. Though he has left this world, he remains forever with us—in laughter, in memory, and in love.
