Keith Allen Byrd, fondly known as KK, was born on May 11, 1996, in Indianapolis, IN. He passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2024, leaving a profound impact on the lives of those who knew him. Keith was a devoted father to his four children, Tommy, Deandre, Kyla, and Ashanti, and a loving partner to Shantell Williams.
A graduate of Arlington, Keith was deeply committed to his community, actively participating in Indy’s Stop the Violence campaign. His heart of gold shone brightly through his passion for helping others, and he was known for his infectious smile that could light up any room. Keith loved spending time with his siblings, Keyana, Quita, Tommy, and Cole, and cherished moments shared with family and close friends.
Keith enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including bowling and basketball, and was a passionate fan of RnB, rap, and gospel music. He had a particular fondness for T-Bone steak and his sister Keyana’s cooking. His life motto, “Out the Gate,” reflected his enthusiastic approach to life and his dedication to living fully.
As a Baptist Christian, Keith’s faith was an integral part of his identity, guiding him in his interactions and contributions to his community. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for the joy he brought to others, brightening each day with his loving spirit and unwavering support. Keith’s legacy will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
