Keisha McKay, lovingly known as Sunny, passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 34. She was born on October 12, 1989, in Memphis, TX, and had been residing in Dallas, TX. Keisha was a bright and fun-loving individual who brought joy to those around her.
Keisha had a passion for sports, particularly basketball, and she enjoyed playing track and tennis as well. She loved spending time with her family, and nothing brought her more happiness than being in their company. Keisha had a contagious energy and always had a smile on her face. She cherished her children deeply and considered them her proudest accomplishment.
In her free time, Keisha enjoyed listening to music, with her favorite bands and artists being Ghetto Boyz, Plies, and Sir Charles. She had a love for food and would enjoy anything edible. Keisha also had a fondness for sleeping all day, which she considered her favorite place in the world.
Keisha's educational journey led her to graduate from junior college, and she went on to work in the medical field. She had a motto in life, "Drink, smoke, and chill, and spend time with my people," which she lived by.
Keisha is survived by her loving parents, the Hearn family, and the Jones family. She was not married and did not have any children or grandchildren. Although she was not involved in community organizations or social causes, Keisha made a lasting impact on the lives of those who knew her. She brought laughter and joy to every gathering and will be deeply missed.
There will be no specific religious or spiritual service mentioned, as Keisha did not have any specific beliefs. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for her family, and her ability to make people laugh and enjoy life. May her soul rest in peace.
