On June 23rd 1967 a joyful baby girl was to basil and Maxine Sands was was Named Kayla Elizabeth Sands affectionately called Kay kay. She was the 3rd of seven siblings
She received her early education at Willard Patton primary 1972-78 ,T.G Glover jr high school 1978-81,C.C Sweeting Sr 81-84. The the ambitious and hardworking as she is Kayla was employed at the Straw Market a few years until she ventured off and did House keeping work for Rhoda Adderley and family for many years. During her hustle to provide for her family she later too on a part time job at West winds vacation resort. She got employed at btvi in 2006 she started in the janitorial department and later became a security guard until her demise. She loves to cook and bake. She obtained a certificate for pastry making 1 and 11 at the college of the Bahamas. Kayla loved her Family and was very keen on education. She was a fun loving and joyful person. And love to dress up. Even do she was keen on education and family she love church. If she missed a Sunday from church something was. Wrong. She profess her faith in the Holy Enchariston April 8th, 2012. Kayla would always encourage her kids and others around her to go to church,pray read our Bible and give our life to the Lord. She was also apart of the St Francis lady auxiliary for over 20 years and doing God's work
At a ripe young age she caught the attention Anthony Miller the fell in love and got married and had 5 kids, one pre deceased. The had 35 years of marriage. During her aliments Kayla fought hard but the battle got to hard. Her gracious father in heaven put an end to her suffering on September 14,2024.

Teleah :We knew nothing about the day that god was going to call your name in life we loved you dearly in death as much when you had life it broken our hearts to lose you But you don't go alone for part of us went with you the day god called you home you left us peaceful memories your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you and alway at our side our family chain is broken and nothing seems normal. But the chain will link again someday
Words cannot express how much I am going to miss you. I will miss your welcoming joyful spirit. You were always smiling and laughing. I will miss the times when I would come in your room and we would talk and laugh or just sit and watch tv together you would always support me and give me the best advice on any and everything I did or would be planning on doing I will never forget your lasts days where I would tell you I going to work and you would say ok "baby" see you later. I remember on sunday you would knock on the door and ask are you eating now "baby". Always wanted me to go back to school and learn whatever I could always wanted to see me succeed you were always in my corner rooting for me no matter what I did you were here for every high and every low and for that I will forever be grateful for your love and for you being my auntie I love you forever and always see you in the sky some day.

Mommy we love. you have always seen the best in you kids when no one ever did. You never give up. Your encouraging words or just your long speech when we didn't feel like listening. But oh Elizabeth you will forever be missed. We love you and take your rest mommy. Your seeds .
