Obituario
Kayla Denise Estes, 26, of Augusta, GA, passed away on July 8, 2024. Born in Augusta on January 29, 1998, she was the cherished daughter of Valinda and Kenneth Estes. Kayla was baptized at an early age at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church and was a proud alumna of Glenn Hills Elementary and Glenn Hills High School.
From her teenage years, Kayla developed a passion for dancing, a joy that remained with her throughout her life. In 2023, she met Darius Smith, who would become her devoted husband and the father of her beloved son, Darius Jr.
Kayla is survived by her loving husband, Darius Smith; son, Darius Smith, Jr.; parents, Valinda and Kenneth Estes; brother, Jivontae Estes; and sisters, Honesty and Brittany Estes.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, GA. Williams Funeral Home in Hephzibah, GA, is assisting the family during this time.
