Kay Starnes Todd, a classy lady with a sassy attitude, passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on January 10, 1942, in Monroe, NC, and most recently resided in Waxhaw, NC. Kay's favorite food and often a standing joke in the family were chicken tenders. It is said that she could tell you where the best tenders could be found up and down the east coast. She enjoyed listening to the Paradigm party band out of Orlando, considering all the members as her extended family.
Family was the center of Kay's universe, both biological and chosen. She cherished her role as a wife and was married to Joe Todd on August 27, 1964. Together, they raised two daughters: Lori Todd, Kimmie Caramuta, and son Robbie Jordan. Kay also had a chosen daughter, Crystal Jordan, and Gerry Holmes. Her favorite son-in-law was Marc Caramuta, and she adored her granddaughter, Pomai Abregano.
Kay's favorite place in the world was her home, where she created countless cherished memories with her loved ones. She had a passion for football and enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams very passionately and loudly. Kay's infectious smile and zest for life made her a joy to be around, and she will be remembered for her vibrant personality and loving nature.
Kay Starnes Todd will be dearly missed but forever remembered by all those whose lives she touched. In the hearts of her family and friends, her memory will live on as a beacon of love and laughter.
Kay S. Todd will be have a party for friends and family to celebrate their time here on this earth.
