Kathryn Golding-Cox was born on April 20, 1955, in Hudson, NY but grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and most recently resided in Baton Rouge. Kathryn was predeceased by her Captain of Marines, Frank A. Cox, Jr. USMC, (RET/DEC).
As a sister, wife, mother and grandmother, Kathryn dedicated her life to her family, who were her greatest joy. She is survived by her siblings: Kenneth, Karl (Lynn), Keene Golding (Rhonda), Karen East, and Kyle Bauer (Steve) She is also survived by her two daughters, Sally G. Wilson and Allison H. Braun (David), and her grandchildren: Brennan Wilson, Hallie Wilson, Bettie Wilson, Selah Houston, Sergio Houston, Sarah Houston, and Samuel Houston. Kathryn also cherished her great-grandchildren, McKaye, Cora, and Andrew Wilson; Ivy Crawford, Nyjah Wofford, Harmony and Lyric Spatz, and Zariah Houston.
Kathryn Golding-Cox will be remembered for her loving spirit and the happiness she brought into the lives of those around her.
