Katherine was always adventurous and loved the ocean, mountains and outdoors. She was a selfless soul that always gave to those in need and always put others before herself. She loved to be outside more than anything and could always be found planting flowers or tending to her yard when she wasnt doing her other culinary passion.
Along side her husband Nicholas their adventures took them far and wide, eventually to the land of the midnight sun, Alaska, where they finally resided. In her elder years katherine became ill with kidney disease and ultimately kidney failure. She finally succumed to the debilitating illness after 8 long years of battling through dialysis treatments.
