Kasie Boone, born on March 21, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on December 11, 2024, at her home in the city she loved. An alumnus of St. Bernard High School, class of 1998, Kasie continued her education at Langston University in Oklahoma and later earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Dominguez Hills College in Carson, California, in 2003.

Throughout her life, Kasie was known for her kind and sensitive nature, as well as her intelligence and quick thinking. She channeled her passion for helping others into a successful career as a Probation Officer for the County of Los Angeles. Kasie’s proudest achievement was her educational journey, culminating in her college graduation.

Kasie loved nothing more than being a mother to her cherished daughter, Tyli Joy Gilmore. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and creating unique clothing. Kasie was known for her incredible sense of style, always dressing to impress. She had a fondness for delicious foods, preferring them tasty but not spicy.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her parents, Donald and Loraine Boone; her elder brother, Leon Allen; her eldest sister, Lisa Wells; her twin sister, Carmen Boone; and her beloved nephews, Johnathan Boone-Neal and Donald Malik Boone-Neal, along with her niece, Eboni Boone-Neal, many aunts, cousins, and friends.

Kasie traveled extensively across the United States and even ventured to China, enriching her life with diverse experiences. Her loving spirit and vibrant personality will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
