Karol Lynn Riese, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 57. She was born on April 14, 1967, in Anchorage, AK, and most recently resided in Wasilla, AK.

Karol had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She loved crafting, horseback riding, snow machining, and baking. As a doting grandmother, Karol cherished her role as "Gigi" to her grandkids. She also had a deep appreciation for potatoes and was a fan of Garth Brooks' music.

Softball was one of Karol's favorite sports, and she took great joy in watching her children participate in motocross and gymnastics. Professionally, she excelled as an administrator, but her proudest achievements were her children.

Karol was married to her loving husband, Kevin Riese, and together they created a beautiful family. She leaves behind her children, Katelyn Bennett and Kraig Riese, and her cherished grandchildren, Lochlan, Miley, and Kendrick Bennett.

Karol is survived by her father, Robert Ferko, and her siblings, Kim Ferko, Kit Ward, Kari Fossen, Kristine Ferko, Kevin Ferko, and Kenny Ferko. She will be remembered for her loving nature, infectious smile, and her ability to bring people together for memorable events.

Karol's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, extending her love and support to both blood relatives and those who became family throughout the years. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
