Kari Lynn Hunt (Wike) was born on December 29, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland. She most recently resided in Bangor, ME. Kari had a passion for sewing, reading, listening to music, and playing video games. Her favorite foods were ribs and Fera Roche. Michael Bublé was her all-time favorite musician, although she also enjoyed listening to Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.

Kari had a generous spirit and once donated her knee-length hair to those in need. She cherished her books and her children above all else. Her favorite place in the world was with her nose in a book, and she loved watching "Anne of Green Gables." Kari was commonly known as Kari.

Kari was previously married to Christopher Hunt, and they spent 17 years together before divorcing in 2013. She is survived by her mother Alice, her brothers John and Gary, and her sister Angel. Kari had two daughters, Jasmine Hunt (26) and Debra Hunt (22), as well as two grandchildren, James Hunt (4) and Liliana Shanks (2).

Kari was a quiet individual who preferred to keep to herself, but she loved wholeheartedly, even when it wasn't reciprocated. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
