Karen Young Obituary

Karen Young, lovingly known as "Puddin", passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 65. She was born on February 2, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, to her parents, the late Isabell and Edward Dixon. Karen was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carrie Young, and her siblings, Margaret Bernetta Bryant, Alvin Jesse Young, and William Anthony Young.
Karen was Educated in the Baltimore School system.
Karen dedicated her working life to serving others. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital Bayview and BCCC, where she made a positive impact on those she cared for and worked with. Her dedication to her profession was unwavering, and she will be remembered for her career achievements.

Family was of the utmost importance to Karen. She leaves behind her children out of love Darryl "Lockie" Dominic and Juel, who brought immense joy and love into her life. Karen was also survived by her nephew, Cedric Dixon Sr., nieces Kara Young, Elvira Young, Carolyn Morrison, and Telisa Driver. Her great nieces and nephews, Talea Dixon, Kyelle Young-Fortune, Kehlani Shellington, Cedric Dixon Jr., Carter Dixon, Colin Dixon, William Fortune Jr., and Mase Bright, will cherish the memories they shared together. Karen also had two god sisters, Patricia Berkley-Myers and Jequetta Hutchinson-Ford, who offered unwavering support and love.

Karen was known for her impeccable style and always ensured she looked her best. She took great pride in her appearance, and her hair was always flawlessly done. She had a keen eye for detail and never compromised on her style.

Karen Young will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
