Karen Kay Strack, born on November 24, 1940, in Beatrice, Nebraska, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Karen was married to Charles Strack, who now rests in heaven, with whom she shared many happy years. Together, they created a warm and loving home where laughter and love flourished. Karen is survived by her two sons, Jim Anderson and Paul Anderson, as well as her stepdaughter, Charlene Underbrink. She was a cherished grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will hold her memory close to their hearts. She also leaves behind her brother, Bob Walker, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A woman of many passions, Karen loved volunteering and traveling, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her greatest joy came from baking “Grandma’s Cookies,” a family favorite that brought everyone together during cherished family gatherings. Her warm spirit and nurturing nature made her a beloved figure in her family and community alike.
Karen was actively involved with several charities, dedicating her time and effort to causes close to her heart. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
