Karen Elizabeth Fuhrman, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born on October 21, 1962, in West Monroe, LA, and most recently resided in Avoca, MI.

Karen was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Cody Fuhrman and Stephanie Stover. She cherished her role as a grandmother and took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, Brody, Boca, Rocco, and Bricker Fuhrman.

Karen was the cherished daughter of Wayne and Pat Sweat, and she had a special bond with her siblings, Donna Tuttle, Tim Sweat, Lori Shafey, and Doug Sweat. She also had a loving relationship with her daughter-in-law, Megan Pierce.

In addition to her immediate family, Karen also leaves behind nieces and nephews who adored her, including Chelsie, Taylor, and Madison Sweat, Julia, Sarah, and Suzy Shafey, and Brian Armstrong.

Karen will be remembered for her kind heart, selflessness, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Karen's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Karen's memory to a charity of your choice.
