Obituary
Kara Lynn Ward 48, of Granbury, TX, passed away on July 15, 2023 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Kara was born on February 10, 1975 to Bob and Brenda Whatley in Fort Worth, TX. Kara graduated from Cleburne High School in 1993.
In 1988, Kara met James Ward at Cleburne Junior High School, and were married on September 4, 1999.
Kara was predeceased by grandparents Betty and RY Thomas and mother Brenda Whatley. Kara is survived by spouse James, father Bob and Ashley Whatley, brother Robert and Stacey Whatley, Aunt Carolyn, Cousins Brandy and Ricky as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be held at Lakeside Baptist Church, 500 W. Bluebonnet DR, Granbury, TX, 76048 on August 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
