Justin Marion Johnson (aka JJ ) was born on September 18, 2011, and was taken away on June 27, 2024. He was a courageous, outgoing, and caring individual who touched the lives of many.

Justin was survived by his loving mother, Janelle Johnson, as well as a host of aunts and uncles: Aunt Shunda (Calvin), Aunt Leslie (John), Uncle Shlain (Traci), Uncle Orlandez (Christina), and Uncle Nokomis. He also left behind a special group of family members TT Nesha (Robert), Aaron, Amie, Carter, TT Cherish, Imari, Phenox-Jordnei, Caliyah, Uncle Jalyn, Neil (TaNerica) Creed, Kaylah, Jodie, Devontae, Synia, Alvin, Myeshia, Kason, Dantashia, Edenlyn, Eden, Bella, Devuntira, Heaven and Jonterious. Also, a host of sisters, brothers, and cousins.

Although Justin was only 12 years old, his impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. His outgoing nature made everyone he met feel like family; no stranger existed in his world. He had a knack for bringing people together and spreading joy wherever he went.

In addition to his kind-heartedness, Justin was a proactive member of his community. He dedicated his time to making lunches for the homeless in the Metro Louisville community. His love and compassion for the elderly were evident, as he would go above and beyond to help them with simple tasks such as taking out the trash, running errands, and assisting with anything he saw needed to be done. Justin also loved playing basketball, making TicTok videos, playing games, and doing YouTube blogs. But his favorite thing he loved most was spending time with family and friends.

JJ will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and his commitment to serving others will continue to inspire those left behind.
