Judy R. Boggs, affectionately known as Juju, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the young age of 21. Born on January 4, 2003, in Summersville, WV, she most recently resided in Petersburg, WV. Judy was a bright soul who radiated kindness and joy, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
A dedicated student, Judy was pursuing a degree in hospitality and tourism at Eastern Community and Technical College, where she was excited to graduate. Her passions extended beyond academics; she found joy in painting, tourism, and sight-seeing, always eager to explore new places and learn new things. Judy cherished music and was a fan of artists such as Tyler Childers, Mitski, Critter, and Hozier, often finding solace and inspiration in their melodies.
Judy's personality was defined by her infectious smile and laughter, bringing happiness to those around her. She had a generous spirit, always ensuring that everyone was smiling and content. Her involvement in community theater showcased her talents as a stellar actress, performing in various plays, including C.R.A.P and Murder Most Fowl.
Judy is survived by her loving mother, Sarah Boggs; her brother, Samuel Boggs; and her stepfather, Tom Pringle. As a testament to her outlook on life, she often echoed the phrase, “As you wish,” embodying her caring nature and desire to uplift others.
Though her time with us was far too brief, Judy R. Boggs will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the joy she brought into the world. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
