Judith Ann Thomas, born on June 29, 1947, in Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She most recently resided in Venice, FL, where she enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful beaches.
Judith had a passion for traveling and exploring new destinations. Her favorite hobby was going on adventures and experiencing different cultures firsthand. She also enjoyed participating in many social clubs, such as the Cardless Club, Snackerdoodles, and Mahjong.
One outstanding quality about Judith was her ability to connect with people effortlessly. She was very social and never met a stranger. Judith cherished spending time with her friends and adored her grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her family, which she considered her favorite place in the world.
She thoroughly enjoyed her role as an executive secretary throughout her career, where she worked for Ross Willaby, Management Horizon, Mary Kay, Nationwide Communications, DuPont and WNCI. Her superpower was bringing out the best in any situation with poise and grace, which helped her to be essential in every position she worked at.
Judith's proudest accomplishments were the life she created with her beloved husband Jim and the beautiful family they raised together. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Bo, Mac, Fennigan, Bailey, Gus, and Sherman. They brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her life.
In her free time, Judith loved reading and spending time in the sun working on her garden. She also loved babysitting her grandchildren when they were younger, playing golf.
She attended Columbus South High and was the daughter of Adrien and Joanne Valentine. Judith had loving siblings, Rick Valentine, Janice Leonard, Mark Valentine, Karen Snelling, and Craig Valentine.
Judith is survived by her children, Jeffrey and Justin, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride. She was a doting grandmother to Savannah Haley Thomas, Julien David Thomas, Jackson Walker Thomas, and Chloe Elisabeth Thomas.
Judith's strong Christian faith was an essential part of her life and kept her going during difficult times. She was actively involved in the Emmaus Community, where she found solace and support.
Judith Ann Thomas will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love will forever be remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
