Juanita Long, lovingly known as Mert, passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born on May 7, 1937, in Dayton, KY and most recently resided in Florence, KY.
Juanita had a passion for yard work and found great joy in working in her garden. Her favorite place in the world was Augusta, KY, where she was born.
Juanita was married to her beloved husband, Ray. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Family was of utmost importance to Juanita. She leaves behind her children Karen, Doug, Jerry, and Randy. She was a proud grandmother to Melanie, Carl, Matthew, and several great-grandchildren.
Juanita will be deeply missed by her surviving close family members, as well as her friends and all who knew her. Her dedication to her loved ones, her passion for gardening, and her warm heart will be remembered fondly by all.
