Joy V Gary, lovingly known as Vonnie, passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on May 17, 1949, in Austin, Texas, and most recently resided in Tyler, Texas.

Joy had a deep passion for bird watching and spent many peaceful hours on her porch, surrounded by her three beloved cats, learning the calls of the birds around her home and communicating with them. She also had a great love for music, with Elvis Presley and the Beatles holding a special place in her heart. Joy could often be found singing hymns at church every Sunday.

Her family was her joy, and she cherished spending holidays with her two daughters, Hope and Brandy, her son Chris, and her five grandchildren. One of her favorite places in the world was Orange Beach, Alabama, where she would visit almost every summer, creating cherished memories with her loved ones.

Joy had a fondness for old western TV shows, and she passed down this love to two of her grandchildren. She was known by her friends and family for her kind, caring, and compassionate nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or brighten someone's day with her sense of humor.

As a certified nurse assistant, Joy dedicated her career to caring for others, and she took great pride in bringing her children into the world. She is survived by her two daughters, Hope and Brandy, her son Chris, her five grandchildren Cole, Noah, Cam, Sophie, and Michael, and her great-grandchild.

Joy V Gary touched the lives of those around her by teaching them to find joy in the simple things, keeping a smile on her face, and spreading love and laughter wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
