Joy Rene Bully, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 49. She was born on November 21, 1974, in Oklahoma City, OK, where she also spent the majority of her life.
Joy was a woman of many interests and hobbies. She found joy in playing World of Warcraft, indulging in movies and TV shows like Vampire Diaries and Originals, and listening to Christian worship music. Joy had a hearty appetite and delighted in enjoying her favorite foods, including wings, fries, Churches chicken, and Dr Pepper.
Above all else, Joy cherished being at home with her family and her beloved grandchildren. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandkids, Cynthia Marie, Lynn, Jaxson Dewayne, and Robbie Bear. She was a loving and protective mother to her two sons, Jeffery Dewayne Bully Jr. and Justin Mitchell Bully.
In her professional life, Joy worked in retail, where she made lasting connections with her colleagues and customers. Her warm and friendly nature left a lasting impact on those she encountered.
Joy will be remembered for her infectious laughter, playful nature, and her ability to find humor in any situation. She had a heart full of love and was fiercely protective of her family. Her absence will be deeply felt by her father, Jerry W Langston, her brother, James Ray Langston his wife Angela Langston Niece Amber Nephews Jordan Jared her Aunt, Carol McKeen, / cousins /Uncle, Scotty Langston / Grandmother Nola Langston and many other close family members.
Joy held strong Christian beliefs that guided her throughout her life. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort during difficult times.
In honoring Joy's unique personality, this obituary brings to light the joy and laughter she brought into the lives of those around her. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. May her soul find eternal rest.
