Joy McFarlane, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 12, 2024, in her hometown of Jamaica, Queens, NY. She was born on March 8, 1956, also in Jamaica, Queens. Joy's greatest joy in life was her beloved husband Wayne M. McFarlane, whom she shared a beautiful life with. Together, they raised five children: Wyntaa, Joshua, April, Travis Jr, and Sean. Joy was also blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including O'shea, Naomi, Zayan Ash, Harmony, and Jayoni.

Joy was known for her outgoing and outspoken nature, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her. Her sense of humor was infectious, and her presence could light up any room. She cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with them. Family gatherings were always filled with love, laughter, and delicious food.

In addition to her roles as a wife and mother, Joy was a dedicated member of her church and volunteered her time to help others. Her passion for serving the community and spreading kindness left a lasting impact on those she encountered.

Joy McFarlane will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as her extended family and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
