A devoted son to Keith and Colleen Chestnut, Josh was also a beloved brother to Eric Nolan and Jensen Chestnut. He found immense joy in the role of being a father to his two sons, Anakin and Jaxson. Family meant everything to Josh, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His mother was his heart and best friend, while his older brother Eric held a special place in his heart. Josh also shared a deep bond with his younger brother Jensen, who he considered both a son and a brother since their father's passing.

Josh had a great passion for movies, particularly the Star Wars franchise. He loved nothing more than spending time with his younger brother Jensen, as it was his favorite place in the world. He found solace in riding his bicycle, feeling at peace as he pedaled through the world.
