Joshua Elijah Ruff, beloved son of Elizabeth and Jeffrey Ruff, was born on November 11, 1994, in San Antonio, Texas. He peacefully passed away on December 22, 2022, in his hometown.

Joshua, known affectionately as Josh, had a passion for music that brought him immense joy. Whether it was drumming, singing, or playing any instrument, he poured his heart and soul into his craft. He was even mastering the keys and loved recording music. Joshua's love for music extended beyond his own talent; he actively supported local bands in San Antonio, attending shows and sharing flyers to uplift the performers.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Joshua had a zest for life. He knew how to skateboard, and he aspired to learn the saxophone to incorporate it into his music. He had a deep love for animals, especially Shamus, and enjoyed writing songs. But above all, Joshua cherished spending time with his family, particularly his children. His role as a father brought him immense joy.

Joshua's positive and uplifting spirit touched the lives of many. He had an uncanny ability to bring happiness and comfort to those around him, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a great listener and showed genuine interest in others, making everyone feel seen and heard. Joshua's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was an integral part of his everyday life, and he shared his love for the Lord with anyone he encountered.

When Joshua wasn't pursuing his musical passions, he found enjoyment in watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Freddy Krueger, collecting DVDs to enjoy at home.

Joshua will be deeply missed by his parents, Elizabeth and Jeffrey Ruff, his siblings, Girlfriend and his children. His outgoing and caring nature, artistic talents, and dedication to helping others will forever be remembered. His impact on those around him will be cherished as his love and positivity live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
