He had a deep appreciation for Cajun and soul food, and his love for old school music, especially the Temptations and Bob Marley, brought him much happiness.

Joseph's proudest achievement in life was his role as a father. He adored his three sons, Tyrone, Anthony, and Marcus, and cherished the time spent with them. His children were the center of his world, and nothing brought him greater joy than seeing them thrive.

Throughout his 14 years of service in the United States Navy, Joseph showed great dedication and bravery, being awarded the Purple Heart for his service. He was a true patriot, dedicated to his country.
