Joe enlisted in the United States Army in April of 1954 and was in "A" Company of the 15th Armored Infantry Regiment, working mainly as a Track Vehicle Mechanic. During his time in the Army, he processed through North Fort Lewis in Washington where he was prepared for overseas deployment to Yokohama, Japan. Joe received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal during his service. Upon completion of his Army career, Joe enlisted into the United States Army Reserve, where he was honorably discharged in 1962.
Spending time with family, friends and neighbors. Joe would light up when anyone would come over to visit. He especially loved talking with family about past events such as life on the farm, fishing trips and adventures with his siblings.
Joe enjoyed watching the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos every season. He also enjoyed old westerns and we all knew he loved to tune into wheel of fortune and Jeopardy every night.
We'll plant real trees for you in Joseph's memory and display your contribution forever.
All condolences, notes and wishes in this book of memories.
