Started as a Contractor specializing in custom built homes, then moved into Industrial and Commercial Real Estate, eventually becoming a partner in the Seeley Company

Survived by his wife Patty, son Joseph Richard Kraus IV and daughter Treadon Kraus Moore, along with grandchildren Joseph, Zadie, Harper, Pierce, and Hunter

Enjoyed golf, swimming, the beach, and travel
