Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jo; sister-in-law, Mary Jane "Janie" Welborn; sister-in-law, Peggy Chatman; nephews: Marty Chatman and Brian Welborn; nieces: Lisa Chambers and Janice Terry; great nephews: Derrick Chambers, Dean Chambers, and Davis Chatman; great nieces: Savannah Satterfield, Holden Brown, Ivy Welborn, Emerson Welborn, and Lily Welborn; great-great nephews: Liam Chambers, Welborn Satterfield, Declan Satterfield, and Hutchinson Chatman; and great-great niece, Ella Chambers
