Joseph "Buddy" Baker, lovingly known as Buddy by those closest to him, passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on February 9, 1951, in Cleveland, OH, and had been residing in Utica, NY.
Joseph had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies, such as camping, fishing, and spending time with loved ones. He cherished every moment he spent outdoors, as it allowed him to "get fresh air," as he often said. However, his greatest joy in life came from his beloved grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart.
Professionally, Joseph worked as a construction worker and was dedicated to his craft. His strong work ethic and commitment to his job were admirable qualities that earned him respect among his colleagues.
Joseph's life motto was encapsulated by his favorite saying, "When life gives you lemons." He believed in making the best out of any situation and always maintained a positive outlook on life.
Above all, Joseph's proudest accomplishment was raising a loving and close-knit family. He poured his heart and soul into being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
