Jose Francisco Castillo Salazar, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on March 25, 1951, in Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, and most recently resided in Ozona, TX.
Jose was known for his love of the outdoors and his talent for fixing things. He found joy in spending time outside and was always eager to lend a helping hand. His favorite foods included cactus with chili Colorado and beans, reflecting his strong connection to Mexican culture. Mexico held a special place in his heart, as it was his favorite destination in the world.
Professionally, Jose dedicated many years of hard work to Holloman, starting at the young age of 15 and retiring from the company. He was admired for his dedication and commitment throughout his career.
Jose leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Orosco, Maria Levario, Christina Castillo Luna, Gloria Castillo (in heaven), and his son Jose Castillo. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were dear to his heart.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, Jose is survived by his brothers Harvey Salazar, Efren Jimenez, and Rudy Jimenez (in heaven), as well as his sisters Juana, Cristina Jimenez, and Lourdes. Their memories with Jose will forever be cherished.
Jose Francisco Castillo Salazar will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to help others in need, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
