Johnny Leon Hobbs, born on December 20, 1961, in Texas, passed away on January 29, 2025, in Kerens, Texas. He was a devoted family man who cherished the time spent with his loved ones, including his wife, Lori June Cook Hobbs, and their three children: Sammy, Stephen, and Christopher. Johnny was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Lance Meurs, Jasmin Chiaia, Julian Hobbs, Emily Hobbs, Dustin Marks, Layla Hobbs, and Owen Hobbs, as well as Kylen Hobbs.
Johnny enjoyed life to the fullest, pursuing hobbies that brought him joy, such as building RC cars and riding his motorcycle. He found solace and adventure exploring the open road on his bike. A lover of Mexican cornbread, he often gathered with family to share meals and laughter.
In his professional life, Johnny was known for his dedication and hard work, serving as a Kmart Warehouse Manager and later as a truck driver. He was remembered for his favorite saying, "Go Bunt a stump," which reflected his playful spirit and love for life.
He is survived by his father, Sam Hobbs, and his sisters, Kay Turner and Linda Hobbs. Johnny's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
