He spent his later years in West Chester, PA, where he was known for his infectious humor and unwavering dedication to his family. A hardworking and dependable individual, John enjoyed a successful career as a CFO, demonstrating resilience and a commitment to excellence throughout his professional journey.
John's passion for gardening and landscaping served as a reflection of his nurturing spirit. He found joy in cultivating beauty around him and often shared that joy with his loved ones. A lover of life's finer things, he delighted in a good martini, medium rare steak, and the rich flavors of lobster. Music brought him joy, with Linda Ronstadt's melodies often providing the soundtrack to his life.
Family was at the center of John's universe. He was a proud father to John Jr., Chris, Matthew, and Elizabeth, and he cherished each moment spent with his eight grandchildren: Jack, James, Chase, Aaron, Ashley, Sam, Seraphina, and Scarlett. He is survived by his siblings, Stanley Poling and Patricia Cheesman, who will cherish his memory along with his children and grandchildren.
