Fly Fishing, working on cars especially his GTO, listening to music, The Beatles was his all time favorite! Spending time with family and friends.
He loved Culver's. Fort Wayne classics like Powers Hamburgers and Coney Island were also some of his favorites. Liver and Onions and Mushroom and Swiss Burgers were his favorite meals at home.
Definitely The Beatles and classic rock. He could drum to just about any music playing. He also taught himself to play the guitar
He is the youngest of 4 boys. John and Linda have been together since 1974. They were getting ready to celebrate their 48th Wedding Anniversary. They had 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. He played drums in a band in his younger years. He was a Orthotist for almost 40 years of his life. During his professional career he was able to provide services in many different states including, New York, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. He enjoyed attending live concerts as much as he could. One of his talents included drawing. He was a great artist One of his favorite past time activities was fishing and camping with family and friends.

John Wayne Lee aged 72, passed away peacefully in his home on July 16th, 2024. He is the son of Laurel Edwin and Agnes Lucille Lee (both deceased). John has three brothers; David Lee (Judy), Patrick Lee, and Michael Lee (deceased). He is survived by his wife Linda Kathleen Lee and his three daughters; Sarah Tristine Moorehead (Scott), Laura Lee Thompson (Leon), and Krista Lee Murphy. He has 6 grandchildren; Ethan Scott Moorehead, Paxten Zavier Moorehead, Wyatt Tristan Moorehead, Robert Layne Thompson, Liam Elise Thompson, and Jackson Lee Murphy. There will be no funeral service, only a "Celebration of Life" open house for family and friends. He will eternally be in our lives and in our hearts. If you wish, you may plant a tree, donate to the Cancer Society, and/or just send your condolences.❤️
The family will hold a Celebration Of Life open house and a short dedication at Grabill Missionary Church on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 from 2:30-5. At 3:30 we will have the dedication in the sanctuary. There will be memories, snacks, and coffee; followed by a casual dinner and celebration at the Moorehead home in Leo, IN.

John fought the Cancer battle for 2 long years. If only there was a way or treatment to have extend his life or a cure. The expenses to fighting cancer is huge. We would love to give back and help someone else.
