Loved family cookouts. His joy when watching his grandchildren play football, baseball was one the highlights in his life.

As long as he was able he picked up trash on the church road every Saturday so that everyone could enjoy a clean beautiful entrance to worship.

John loved nothing more than

Loving mom and his family and attending church services at Caffee Junction Church. His kids can testify to that during the times of six week revivals.

Alabama football & the occasional gun smoke & other westerns. He often would tell us when a cowboy got shot off a horse “I would not have accepted that role in the movie.”
