John Parley Hansen

John Parley Hansen, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on August 12, 1939, in Oakland , CA, and most recently resided in Colorado.

John was a kind-hearted man who cherished his family above all else. He found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones, creating precious memories that will be treasured forever. His loyal companion was his dog, Luke, who brought him great comfort and companionship.

In his leisure time, John enjoyed watching his favorite shows on ION, John especially loved a good Western. He had a vibrant sense of humor and loved making jokes, brightening the lives of those around him.

Professionally, John worked as a truck driver for Lucky Stores. His dedication and commitment to his work were commendable, as evidenced by his achievement of the Safe Driver award. Throughout his entire driving career, he never received a single ticket.

John was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and actively participated in the Vacaville Senior Center. He believed in the importance of community involvement and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

John leaves behind his sons: Wayne, Jeffrey (Laura), and their daughter Valdilene (Ken). He was also a proud grandfather to Lilianna, Laylonie, Kira, Zackary, William, Joey, Andrew, and Brady. He is survived by his two sisters, Gayle and Deanna, as well as other extended family members and friends.
John was greeted in heaven by the love of his life his wife Celia. Along with his Brother William , his father Chester and his mother Alice Nadine Hansen. As well as his two sons John and Douglas Hansen.
John Parley Hansen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, laughter, and unconditional love will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
