Though he lived in Kentucky, John Michael always considered Indianapolis his home, with fond memories of his grandfather's cabin in Spencer, Indiana. Friends and family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

John Michael is survived by his parents, Tammy Burge and John Mallory, and his siblings, Angela Patrick, Shelly Mallory, and Eric Mallory.
