John got his pilots license when he was 44 years old, he also obtained his Commercial Drivers License and drove Charter buses. He has driven over 1 million miles in his carrier as a motorcoach operator.

John M. Jackson, born on November 10, 1976, in Santa Maria, California, passed away on December 6, 2024, in Tecumseh, Missouri. He was a devoted husband to Rayleen Louise Jackson, whom he married on February 6, 1999, and a loving father to Danielle Skruch, Jessica Heckart, and Raymond Skruch. John cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, Mason Cox, Annalise Heckart, and Julianne Heckart.
A proud graduate of Maricopa High School in California, John pursued a diverse career as a Motor Coach Operator and worked in a funeral home. He drove over one million miles in his career, embodying a strong work ethic and dedication to his profession. John also fulfilled a lifelong dream by obtaining his pilot's license at the age of 44, following in the footsteps of his late father, Robert John Jackson.
Family meant everything to John. He loved spending time with his wife and children, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. In his leisure time, John enjoyed flying in the Ozarks, cooking, baking, and maintaining his yard. He was particularly fond of Mexican food, Italian dishes, BBQ, and hamburgers. Music was another passion of his, with country and gospel artists like George Strait, Willie Nelson, and Randy Travis resonating deeply with him.
John had a love for travel, with Sequoia and Yosemite National Park being his favorite places to visit. He also enjoyed watching shows like The Big Bang Theory, The Voice, Yellowstone, and Last Man Standing. His pets, including Rottweilers Buster and Tootsie, along with Yorkie McGee, brought him joy and companionship throughout his life.
In addition to his wife and children, John is survived by his mother, Sandie Steele; siblings Michael Russell and Rob Bish; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Eric Christian Jackson, and his father.
John's warmth, generosity, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
